Details: Since April 2021, it has been my sole responsibility to plan, commission, edit, schedule, and manage 4x blogs per month for the CameraWorld website. Their blog dates back to 2013, with semi-regular posting before my involvement. Goals include informing, entertaining, and educating the target audience, while also increasing the site's organic traffic, search visibility, and content engagement stats.

Key Achievements: The following stats were extracted from Analytics and Search Console, based on April - November 2021 data (and the comparable period in 2019 - pre-lockdown data).

  • Helped increase organic traffic to the CameraWorld blog by 820%+

  • Helped increase organic entrances to the site via the blog by 1054%+

  • Featured consistently among the site's monthly top 10 organic traffic drivers site-wide

  • Featured consistently in CameraWorld's top-performing blog posts for organic traffic, SERP, and total search queries

  • Topped CameraWorld's list of highest-performing blogs for organic traffic

In 4 months since publishing (Jul 9 - Nov 9, 2021), the top-performing blog post has...

  • Attracted an average of 1166 clicks per month

  • Driven over 87% of all organic blog traffic in one month

  • Earned over 5k clicks and over 300k impressions

  • Earned an average CTR of 1.8%, and average SERP of 25

  • Received clicks and impressions from over 1000 keywords

  • Become the 10th highest organic traffic-driving page on the entire site, and the highest organic traffic-driving blog

  • Become a top-5 page site-wide for unique views, bringing in 60%+ of total organic unique views in the blog

  • Become a top-3 page site-wide for organic entrances to the site, bringing in 67%+ of total organic entrances in the blog

  • Earned a higher average time on page (engagement metric) than the other top-10 pages site-wide for unique views and Organic Entrances

Details: A piece of content I had to re-write from the ground up, due to the unusable and inaccurate state of a previous writer's attempt at the same topic. This post needed to be articulate and impeccable in its portrayal of this type of camera, and help guide readers through the customer journey to become a purchasing consumer.

Key Achievements: In 2 months since publishing (Sep 10 - Nov 9, 2021), this post has become the most valuable organic-traffic-earning blog on the site (per Google Analytics data). It’s done this despite only earning to date an average SERP of 47.8 and an average CTR of 0.1% (5 clicks and 4.42k impressions from 204 keywords).
